First thought that comes into my mind is a bit vague, are we being introduced to the future of mousetronics or its just another stress busting techniques we accidentally come across. Folks welcome to the era of ‘mouse makeover’ or rather I would comment- ‘mouse transformatics’. What should I say on this , the optimism shown to this device by the world speaks for itself. The Evoluent Vertical Mouse 2 relieves you off the usual way of holding your mouse and bestows you with the way the future mouses look like .Its actually quite relaxing to get the feel of a mouse which just caresses your fists and gets maneuvered so brilliantly.

It would certainly take some time getting used to this device though, but the theory sounds pretty good, especially if you’re the type to play 18 straight hours on to your computer . Which, a friend of mine has been known to do regularly...

We have seen a lot weirdo stuff round the corner on the market shelves, MP3 Player sunglasses, watches, baseball caps and a lot more. Intended to escalate the experience with your MP3 player and cell phone, the Soundwalk MP3 Player Audio Sports Vest is a hands free and a too light as a feather vest incorporating a built-in amplifier speakers mounted on each shoulder strap for that added feel of surround sound effect. This vest is accessible with reflector lines for use at night for the bike riders, and it also incorporates a selector for swapping between a MP3 player and a cell phone. So for those nerdy people who remain away from wires and stuff this is surely the way to go. The vest is available in black / red , having a price tag for a mere $69.99.

‘Research and Markets’ have just made public their ‘Printed and Chipless RFID Forecasts, Technologies & Players 2007-2017′; in terms of quality and technology, it speaks highly of their latest brand addition.

This technological breakthrough, the Chipless RFID smart labels, can help us unveil an identity and other important information when scanned and scrutinized electronically. The greatest advantage they boast of is that they do not incorporate a microchip to store data and information; this is infact an added advantage as this reduces their cost considerably as in comparison to chip RFID. It is forecasted that the chipless electronic components and devices can strongly hold the market and can show a growth rate of approximately 45%.

The chipless RFIDs show sales of 2322 million as compared to the chipless RFIDs that hold a mere 0.4 % of the market (approx. 100 million). This is definitely a well-known fact that - chipless devices have a bright future and would surely contribute towards the technological upgradation of the world. Thus their cost effectiveness account for their wide popularity and recognition.

They can be very well compared to the bar codes as they are somewhat cheap. Many popular brands in the electronic industry are now trying to offer chipless as well as chip RFIDs so as to cover the full market spectrum and almost every electronic equipment. Industry giants like AstraZeneca and Calvin Klein have already started consuming them in large numbers and almost every packaging company holds licenses to a wide range of processes.

Coming to their cost effectiveness, the chipless RFIDs cut the cost of the devices to upto one tenth as that in comparison to their silicon counterparts. They are capable of handling information upto 256 bits and can be maneuvered upto the distance of ten meters. As compared to the silicon chips the RFIDs show enhanced physical performance too. What makes a RFID so effective and performance oriented is their material based and transistorless circuitry.

Top electronic companies like Philips, PolyIC, OrganicID and Motorola are manufacturing such ‘Transparent polymer transistor circuits’. So we can analyze the situation and conclude that mainstream and typical RFID applications will soon be taken over by the chipless RFID circuitry, and that too for the good. So are we all ready for the price slashes in the electronic world?

No hazards what so ever and thus burning chunks of wood can be just a cakewalk now. It does not incorporate the usual hydrocarbon based fuel, which in turn reduces a great amount of risk involved with it. Factory owners can never miss to grab this opportunity!

The Digital Dawg Pound quite some time back covered a full and enhanced review of the RFID project, if somebody remembers it to be there. Nick proudly boasts of inventing an enhanced and fully functional successor or rather I would say the heir of RFID Door Entry System.

According to Nick-’I decided to try and improve the reliability and responsiveness of my previous RFID front door project (based around a client / server design), by re-implementing it using the Parallax BASIC Stamp 2e, and the 13.5MHz APSX RW-210 RFID reader as a standalone device. I was also looking to gain some practical experience with BASIC Stamp programming’.

He also added that the designing is very simple with easy maneuvers and it’s quite unproblematic to handle while assembling the same. It consists of a circuit board which in fact joins the BASIC stamp with the RFID reader which is inturn driven by a constant dc voltage source of 12v. When a user or rather the owner of the house enters the valid card into the slot provided, the system recognizes the card and enables the owner of the house or any dwelling to get access of the premises. It also rings a buzzer so as to notify the user about the action being taken by the microcontroller, watch out thieves!

Now these may seem a bit vague but it’s true, these goggles are a lot more than they seem to be. They have the ability to see in the dark as well as may be termed as the X-ray vision compatible. What are the army men thinking? Are they going nuts? Why have they unleashed such a gadget and that too to the civilians? Would definitely prove dangerous if some infiltrators get a hold on one of such devices.
